The Thermo Scientific Orion AquaMate 8000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is designed for water analysis and beyond with over 260 preprogrammed methods compatible with several leading brands of reagents plus user customizable methods for absorbance, % transmittance and concentration testing. Methods are stored on the included USB memory stick, so they can be added or removed from the instrument as needed. Methods can be adapted for new chemistries or operators can create their own custom methods.
The AquaMate 8000 UV-Vis offers 190 to 1100 nm selectable wavelengths and 1.8 nm spectral bandwidth and delivers unsurpassed data quality throughout the entire UV to near-IR region of the spectrum. A dual-beam optical geometry and high-intensity, instant-on xenon lamp are utilized for accurate measurements and five to seven years of maintenance-free operation. Superior signal to noise performance and fast wavelength scanning technology allow high-quality spectral data to be acquired quickly and reliably.

The AquaMate 8000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer includes all three available cell holders.
The AquaMate 3-Position Cell Holder (EF13999) includes one adjustable holder for 13mm to 25mm round vials, one holder for 20 or 50mm rectangular vials and one holder for 10mm square vials.
The AquaMate 6-Position Cell Holder (EF14000) is ideal for multi-sample measurements in 10mm square vials. With one position reserved for a blank, the 6-position cell holder allows the automated analysis of up to five samples.
The AquaMate 1-Position Cell Holder (EF13998) accommodates a single 10mm square vial.
